High Performance Aboriginal Athlete Support Fund (HPAASF)

The HPAASF is a core initiative of the ASC. The HPAASF is designed to offset some of the costs incurred by Aboriginal athletes pursuing elite competitive and high performance training opportunities.

The HPAASF provides direct assistance to Aboriginal athletes who wish to attend national and international competitions, or attend elite or national camps hosted by or endorsed by a recognized NSO in Canada. The HPAASF focuses on ‘emerging’ athletes, and as such, will support some of the top Aboriginal athletes from such events as the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG), Arctic Winter Games (AWG) and Canada Games (CG) as they strive to advance to higher levels of competition at the national and international levels.

For complete information on the HPAASF Program Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, please see the attachment below.

Note: The application deadline for this quarter HPAASF is September 30th, 2010 at 8:00pm EDT
